"Too cool to pretend to care"
Vinklárková, Tereza ; Remešová, Anna (referee) ; Sterec, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of the project is to capture the consumer attitude of society, the millennial culture, fake news, as well as planetary and social changes. It presents a stylized post-ironic statement of mostly narcissistic millennials, whose social platforms have become the main platform for expression, forcing us to reflect on the variety of information we are surrounded by and the need of its selection. It also opens the discussion about the phenomenon of denying the existence of climate change visible through the absurd arguments and the phenomenon of geoengineering, targeted human interventions in natural processes, primarily to permanently or at least temporarily cool the planet.
Dance floor as a safe space: interviews with women of Czech club culture
Láska, Timon ; Hroch, Miloš (advisor) ; Turek, Pavel (referee)
The practical bachelor's thesis Dance Floor as a Safe Space: interviews with women in Czech club culture was written as a response to the ongoing debate about safe spaces in club cultures, in which the part of society most affected by the discussion, i.e. women, the queer community and other marginalized groups, rarely get a place to express themselves. The issue is more serious in the context of club cultures and the predominantly specific rave culture because these cultures present themselves as egalitarian cultures without any marginalization based on gender, sex, race, nation, or religion. In addition to gender diversity, the thesis also deals with the issue of safe spaces within club cultures; these two issues are closely and inextricably linked. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the concepts that relate to the topic from a historical and contemporary context, it deals with the theory of the genre of the journalistic interview, gender and gender stereotyping, safe space, and last but not least club cultures and the rave culture under study. It will also delineate the functioning and differences between the scenes of both cities, Prague and Brno. The practical part of the thesis will present a series of ten interviews with women and non-binary people from the club cultures of Prague...
Visual Composition in Time
Kaláb, Jaroslav ; Baloun, Vít (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis is a short subjective document, that is made up of my own footage, which I have been collecting for a long time until now. It captures the physical and social environment in which I have been moving in recent years. Through them, I try to portray my feelings about these environments, about constant movement through them and in general about neverending traveling in space-time. It is my way of thinking about where my safe space is, if it is one place or if there are more of them, or if I feel the best at the moment, when I travel and I am not grounded in any place.

Nedomová, Veronika ; Svatošová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Jakubcová Hajdušková, Lucie (referee)
The central theme of the bachelor's thesis is a safe space. It is a phenomenon that permeates the entire pedagogical process and is an essential part of it, as it creates suitable conditions for the fulfillment of educational goals. It is also a prerequisite for a personality growth that leads not only to personal happiness and a fulled life, but implicitly also to a better functioning of the whole society. The aim of the work is to map in detail the principles and possibilities of safe space through art creation (Art education) together with dramatization (Drama education). Thanks to this connection, the potential of artistic and dramatic expression can be used as a specific way of self-expression, exploring one's inner self and one's relationship to the surrounding world. Dramatic play is also a suitable means of inducing an authentic experience, during which personality grows naturally. The term Art Drama as an interdisciplinary subject where both Visual Art and Drama education intersect. In the didactic part, based on the acquired knowledge, an artistically dramatic thematic series with a selected topic - Enviroment - is compiled. Didactic transformation uses three educational units of aArt education and contextualizes current trends in society and modern Art.
